Body Fit Plus is hiring Nurse Practitioner for correctional facility in Calipatria, California.

Job Details: Registered Nurse

• Location : Correctional Facility in Calipatria, California
• Pay Rate $78 to $86 Per Hour + Quarterly Bonus
• Schedule : 6 to 9 months Full Time Contract Eligible for extension
• Tue -- Sat -06:00am -14:30pm
• Wed - Sun -06:00am -14:30pm
• Thurs - Mon -06:00am - 14:30pm
• Sun - Thu -06:00am -14:30pmRequirements: Registered Nurse
  • Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in public or private institution. Clinical competencies must be current
  • Valid Photo ID Driver's License or Passport (Required)
  • Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association
  • Possess a current and valid RN license issued by the California State BoardBenefits: Registered Nurse

      • Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
      • Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
      • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
      • Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patient's charts.
      • Adjust and administer patient's medication(s) and provide treatments according to the physician's orders.
      • Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.).
      • Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
