*Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:*
* Excellent administrative and clinical skills
* Room patients and obtain vital signs
* Obtain and update patient medical history and medication list with accuracy
* Prep exam rooms and anticipate provider needs
* Assist provider in procedures such as biopsies, surgical procedures, and cosmetic treatments/procedures
* Maintain a safe environment for patients and use all safety precautions appropriately.
* Other duties as assigned

*Education:*
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
* Certified Medical Assistant preferred but not required.
* Medical Assistant training is required.

*Qualifications:*
* Must have 2-3 years of experience working in a medical office as a medical assistant.
* Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) is preferred.
* Dermatology experience is a plus.
* Experience in Cosmetic procedures is preferred.
* Professional in appearance and mannerisms.
* Able to demonstrate compassion and caring when dealing with others, patients, and co-workers.
* Able to prioritize tasks, understand the provider's instructions, and know when to seek information or advice.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent patient care skills.
* EMA experience preferred.

*Equipment Operated:* Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

*Physical Requirements: *Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator; stooping and bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Includes handling of sharps and chemicals.
