Rehabilitation Center /n POSITION DESCRIPTION: The OR Patient Care
Coordinator (PCC) performs the clinical role of a RN Ill in the
care of the patient undergoing surgery and/or anesthesia. This
position assumes a leadership role for daily unit operations and
assists with hiring and training of staff. The PCC supervises and
evaluates staff performance and maintains staffing levels to ensure
budget goals and meet patient needs. The position ensures necessary
equipment and supplies are available at all times and develops and
implements performance improvement projects to improve patient
outcomes. The PCC functions as a role model and mentor to other
employees and serves as a liaison between patients, staff, and
