Originally called Indio Community Hospital, JFK has grown to a
145-bed acute-care hospital that is part of Tenet Healthcare
California. It offers a variety of services, including: •Emergency
care 24/7 •Orthopedic and joint replacement services using emerging
technology •Cardiovascular services •Maternity care and pediatric
services •Ambulatory surgery center •Imaging services •Outpatient
Rehabilitation Center \n Position Description: \n Under the
direction of the Medical Director, and in conjunction with the
Administrative Director of Imaging Services performs various
radiological procedures. \n These duties include, but are not
limited to: limited monitoring of patients during procedures,
performing some Specialized Radiologic procedures according to
departmental protocols, working in various areas and with various
equipment. Also assists with QA and QI studies, patient scheduling,
and crash cart monitoring. \n Technologist is expected to learn and
perform with our Cerner information system and complete studies in
our McKesson PACS system. Position is expected to solve PACS during
the shift. \n Technologists are to complete all portable x-rays
ordered ready for shift. With limited supervision uses independent
judgment and necessary skills in obtaining the best diagnostic
images. Maintains and monitors equipment operation and calibration.
\n Assists as needed in maintaining relationships with physicians
and staff. Assists the Radiologist with contrast administration. \n
Practices sterile technique and other duties as required. \n Shift:
Full Time Rotate \n Hours: Hours and Days will Vary \n 7:30a –
8:00p(X-ray) \n 11:00a – 11:30p(X-ray) \n 7:30p – 8;00a (X-ray) \n
7:00a – 7:30p(CT) \n 7:00p– 7:30a (CT) \n \n Pay Range: $37.00 -
$55.00 hourly Individual wages are determined based upon a number
of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's
