Job Description Job Description Job Description: Seeking Part-Time/Full-Time Class A CDL Driver - ($25/hour, guaranteed 4 days a week with opportunities for more hours) ? Consistent Weekly Schedule - Flexible scheduling with single day / evening and overnight (2 day) shifts available 4-5 days a week. ? Local pickup and drop off locations - Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and possible Ventura and San Diego counties. ? Operate either single or 2-day routes ? 2- day shift: 36 hours (26 hours driving) ? Flexible shifts available to accommodate additional loads ? Opportunities for full-time employment based on performance ? Opportunity to build a small local, minority-owned business and learn the industry ? Must be able to drive a manual ? Must follow all FMCSA regulations ? Opportunities for bonuses based on performance What you'll do: Haul various loads (100% no touch freight) using state of the art equipment and technology, including day / sleeper cabs. Drive local and regional routes that have you home after every shift ? Employment Type - Part-time is typically 35 hours / week with opportunities for additional shifts and overtime. Growth Opportunities - Outstanding employees can move up to full-time employment What you'll need: To be hired you MUST complete and/or successfully pass the following criteria: ? Must be at least 21 years old ? Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) ? Must successfully Pass DOT Physical ? Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records ? No current CDL suspension or revocation ? Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and good DAC Report ? Successfully pass a background check ? Must pass a pre-employment drug screen ? Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications such as GPS ? Need a work reference who will be contacted ? Pass a driving skills test ? Pass an interview Preferred Qualifications ? Familiarity with truck maintenance ? Demonstrates problem solving skills ? Displays strong professionalism that represents the company well ?
