Job Description:
Position Summary This is a hands-on job in an energizing and
collaborative environment. STOPS will provide on the job training,
but a strong candidate will come armed with confident skills and an
understanding of makeup techniques and beauty trends – as well as
machine and hand sewing. Individual should have an eye for
organization, be inquisitive, open to feedback, and communicative
as part of a team. Job Duties and Responsibilities · Learn to
create and apply special effects make-up wounds for tactical
training evolutions · Casting, molding, airbrushing, sculpting, and
painting amputee sleeves, and prosthetic injuries · Design and
create foam latex and silicone wounds and body parts · Responsible
for organizing products, tools, and equipment for field operations
Pulling, laundering, mending, organizing, and/or constructing
garments for tactical training Assisting in preparing and tracking
wardrobe assigned to projects Participating in maintaining accurate
records of departmental activities, including inventory Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities · Hardworking and imaginative with
exceptional team commitment · Strong attention to detail and
outstanding communication skills · Ability to properly time manage
to meet goals and deadlines Familiarity with sewing equipment, hand
sewing tools, and washers and dryers Willingness to ask questions
and receive constructive feedback Ability to follow instructions
and apply learned information Ability to handle information with
discretion and tact Courteousness and a positive attitude Ability
to work independently and as part of a team Reliability,
dependability, punctuality, and patience Attention to detail and
organization Fluency in English with an ability to communicate
skillfully – verbally and written Qualifications No specific
