AOD Clinician (Full-time) (Calipatria, CA) POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Supervising Counselor, the AOD Counselor is responsible for delivering programming services to the participants by delivering face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Deliver programming services to the participants; + Conduct group and/or individual sessions by utilizing motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic processes; + Evaluate and document the progress of particpants assigned to their groups; + Develop treatment plans with participants that is collaborative, individualized, and responsive to all parties changing needs. + Document treatment outcome using acceptable methods and tools; + Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential participant records by documenting the delivery of programming services in ARMS; + Engage participants daily, reinforce group rules and expectation for participations and completion; + Protect and maintain program participant's health, safety, welfare, and confidentiality of records and participant information. + Adhere to the scheduled program curriculum + Work collaboratively with CDCR/CCHCS and institutional staff. + Demonstrates ethical behavioral in order to maintain professional standards and adhering to professional, certification or license, organizational, and CDCR requirements.. + Maintain appropriate and professional boundaries between staff and all participants. + Attends and actively participates in all required staff training sessions in accordance with Phoenix House, state licensing requirements, and CDCR requirements and completes all training on time + Attends and participates in program and all staff meetings + Adheres to and promotes the Phoenix House Mission, Vision, and Values while acting as a role model for others + Understand and appropriately apply Phoenix House policies and procedure, and adhere to agency-wide practices and regulations. + Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES The incumbent in this position has no supervisory responsibilities EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS The minimum qualifications for the AOD Counselor classifications are as follows: Journey Clinician A Journey Clinician must meet one (1) of the following minimum requirements: + A Master's Degree in a social service-related field and registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES + Demonstrated commitment and adherence to Phoenix House Mission, Vision, and Values: I CARE For?
