Desert Jet Center is looking to hire a Customer Service
Coordinator for our Fixed Base Operator (FBO) located in Thermal,
CA (KTRM airport.) Desert Jet Center is striving to be a
top rated Fixed Base Operation (FBO) in Southern California.
Finding a customer-oriented and highly motivated individual to
occupy this position will add to the success of the new facility.
This is an entry-level position paying $14-16/ hour based on
experience, and is a perfect opportunity for anyone
interested in getting a start in the aviation industry. Our
Customer Service Coordinators work with high end clientele and must
be able to provide a professional and exceptional
- High School Diploma or GED required (2 years of college
- Valid California Driver's License required with clean driving
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Able to Work in a Past-Paced Environment
- Excellent Multi-Tasking Skills
- Detail Oriented
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Valid Drivers License
- 2 Years in a Customer Service Oriented Role
- Proficient Knowledge with Microsoft products
- Experience in the Private Aviation Industry-
- Outgoing and Friendly Personality
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate Guest (Passengers/Visitors/Pilots/Crew) Service
operations through flight arrival, transit and departure
operational phases while delivering first class hospitality and
service assistance in an environment of perfect comfort,
cleanliness, confidentiality, efficiency and ease. Liaise with
Management, Line Service Technical staff and other inter-company
resources to assure a seamless flow of service excellence
throughout each Guests visit.
- Facilitate aircraft refueling orders, and accomplish payment
and invoicing computer transactions. Provide Guests with assistance
with the customary requirements of hotel reservations, directions
to local destinations, ground transportation and flight catering,
as well as any unanticipated non-routine personal requests and
requirements. Employ excellent professional telephone and
interpersonal conversation skills in all dealings with Guests and
outside inquiries, as well as with Team Members, vendors and so
- Ensure Guest engagement through anticipating service needs,
meeting and exceeding expectations, and delighting Guests through
personalized attention. Maintain a culture that promotes customer
loyalty by sustaining an environment of Guest engagement, comfort
and satisfaction. Interact and assist Guests with a consistent and
positive can do attitude, while avoiding disappointment and no can
do moments by pivoting without hesitation to let me see what we can
do problem resolutions.
- Endeavor, when appropriate, to relate on a personal level in
conversation with Guests by anticipating areas of interest based
upon such things as the geographical region of origin or cultural
background of the Guest, as examples. Make the Desert Jet Center
experience a very special one that will be remembered with fond
anticipation of the next visit.
