And that's how we empower a renewable world.Job Summary:The Planner/ Scheduler role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated individual who has the ability to comprehend the extensive production operations and schedules. Determine and execute work schedules, diagnose problems, ensure quality control, preventative maintenance, and compliance with safety procedures and regulations. Consider each stage of the production process to increase efficiency and productivity. Must be able to work with databases, prepare reports, and communicate with other employees, staff, and customers regarding potential problems and schedule or production changes. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to ensure the overall business goals are met in the most effective and efficient manner. Major Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible in creating and monitoring the Master Schedule of Preventive/ Corrective Maintenance Plan or Priority list.
  • Analyze and manage commitment dates directly related to customer demand and expediate accordingly against current/tentative dates based on production schedule(s).
  • Works closely with Operations Supervisor/ Manager regarding the team's availability (ex. training, time-off, etc.) that should be considered in creating a schedule.
  • Develop daily, weekly, monthly, and annual monitoring/planning processes.
  • Creates, develops and keep an accurate reporting of team's metrics and KPIs (ex. Hit Rate, Forecast Accuracy, etc.) and provide visibility of team's performance to Planning & Operations Management team.
  • Manages the end-to-end workflow of project and/or workorder life cycles.
  • Works closely with Operations (Technical field) team in ensuring complete and accurate work logs info (timely status update and closure).
  • Contribute to close-out data enabling knowledge retention at completion of work.
  • Maintain internal/external portfolios and establish sufficient capacity for the short-long term.
  • Drives the coordination meetings between Planning, Operations (Technical Field), and Supply Chain team.
  • Use of customized CMMS systems to ensure work is planned/scheduled to meet warranty and service contract commitments/requirements.
  • Leverage quantitative analysis to identify best practices to improve customer/cost outcomes
  • Drives, initiates and assist in identifying efficiency improvements for maintenance planning and scheduling processes, systems and tools to achieve metrics and overcome temporary technical limitations.
  • Provides team members with proper coaching, mentoring, and motivation including technician guidance and optimization of work plans.
  • Use data-driven decision making to achieve daily operational excellence. Skills/Abilities:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient use of Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel, Project, Word, Visio and Power Point.
    • Experience using and/or implementing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as MAXIMO.
    • Ability to discuss details of solar projects such as electrical issues, availability, and performance trends.
    • Well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as outside customers and vendors.
    • Ability to work and make decisions with minimal or no supervision using a safety first and customer focused mindset
    • Organizational skills needed to prioritize effectively and handle multiple deadlines.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience:
      • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering.
      • (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial), or related field.
      • 2+ years' experience in Project Planning (equivalent combination of education and experience)
      • 2+ years' experience in ERP system environment and implementation (Infor, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics preferred).
      • 2+ years' experience in solar performance analytics and/or operations and maintenance.
      • 2+ years' experience in customer facing role(s), preferably scheduling/dispatch.
      • 1+ years' experience with Agile methodology is a plus.
      • Strong business and financial acumen.
