Job Description Job Description We are launching a new Commercial Lending Division and seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer with deep owner-user and seller/user financing experience to help build and lead this platform alongside our established commercial real estate brokerage. This role is ideal for a lender who thrives on face-to-face dealmaking, in-person collaboration, and being the trusted financing authority — not someone looking for a remote or purely transactional position. What You’ll Do Originate and structure owner-user, seller/user, and commercial real estate loans — including complex deal scenarios Work onsite in our Ontario office, partnering directly with commercial brokers and leadership Lead in-person financing trainings and deal-structuring sessions to increase agent confidence and referral quality Leverage consistent, built-in deal flow from an active brokerage while growing your own pipeline Serve as the go-to financing expert for brokers, owners, and investors Help design processes and best practices as the lending division is built from the ground up This Role Is a Strong Fit If You Have hands-on experience with owner-user and seller/user commercial financing Enjoy teaching, advising, and structuring deals in live settings Prefer in-office collaboration over remote lending models Value relationship-driven lending and broker partnerships Want leadership influence and long-term growth — not just transactions Requirements Required Experience & Background 5 years in commercial, bank, or private lending Proven success structuring owner-user commercial transactions Existing referral network or book of business preferred Ability to work onsite in Ontario, CA Strong presentation and advisory communication skills Entrepreneurial, commission-driven mindset California DRE license (required or obtainable before start) Benefits Compensation & Earning Potential Commission-based split, uncapped earnings $3,000 guaranteed first-month base (not deducted from commissions) Ongoing monthly draw against commissions Additional 0.25 bps based on funded loan volume Sign-on bonus possible for candidates with active pipeline Typical Earnings: Consistent producer: $100K Strong producer: $200K Top performers: Unlimited upside You’ll Also Receive Full CRM and operational support Built-in referral flow from established brokerage Direct access to leadership Early leadership influence in a growing division Why This Role Stands Out Immediate deal flow from an active commercial brokerage Launch-stage leadership opportunity High broker visibility and influence A seat at the table as the division grows
